Does this course prepare you for a certification?

Yes. You will be prepared for the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) certification offered by the International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP).

You will also be prepared for the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access. To earn the Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Expert Certification, you must earn the Associate certification by completing three of the following exams:

  • For students using Microsoft Office 2019/2021: MO-100 (Word), MO-200 (Excel), MO-300 (PowerPoint), or MO-400 (Outlook)
  • For students using Microsoft Office 365: MO-110 (Word), MO-210 (Excel), MO-310 (PowerPoint), or MO-400 (Outlook)

And complete two of the following expert exams:

  • For students using Microsoft Office 2019/2021: MO-101 (Word Expert), MO-201 (Excel Expert), or MO-500 (Access Expert)
